Retrophin Announces Addition to the NASDAQ Biotechnology Index

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Retrophin, Inc. (NASDAQ:RTRX) today announced that it has been selected for addition to the NASDAQ Biotechnology Index (NASDAQ:NBI). The addition will become effective prior to market open on Monday, December 22, 2014.

The NASDAQ Biotechnology Index is designed to track the performance of a set of NASDAQ-listed securities that are classified as either biotechnology or pharmaceutical according to the Industry Classification Benchmark. The NASDAQ Biotechnology Index is re-ranked annually. In order for companies to be eligible for inclusion on this list, companies must have a minimum market cap of $200 million and a minimum daily trading volume of 100,000 shares.
